We're really proud of our ingredients
 The secret to our Great Bread is really no secret at all...it starts with the best wheat from family-owned farms in the premium wheat growing region of Montana. Our wheat and flour are 100% under our control; we are millers and bakers under one roof. We grind our flour every day for the kind of freshness you can smell right in the flour.
The ingredients in our bread are the finest available. Our products contain no preservatives. Our basic breads contain only wheat, water, yeast, honey, and salt. Most breads have no fats, oils, eggs, or dairy. Specialty breads with cheeses or nuts are an exception. Our corn bread is also made with real butter. Most of our loaves have a light egg wash (3 eggs per 72 loaves). If you prefer no egg wash please call to special order.
Hot bread starts coming out of the oven around 9:15 AM, and all varieties on a given day's menu are usually ready by 11:00 AM. We welcome phone orders and will gladly set aside your bread, so you won't be disappointed if we are out of your favorites when you arrive at the bakery.
